  • Core ECU must be M4.4. If the core is sent after receiving a tuned ECU the $75 core charge will be refunded.
  • If you select 850, the AC code will be altered to allow for functional AC.
    This cable is necessary for datalogging and flashing.
    These software modules will be added to your base tune and the appropriate .xdf for TunerPro will be sent along so you can modify them to suit your tune.

Want to tune your car yourself, but don’t feel comfortable modifying the hardware of your ECU ?

This is a M4.4 ECU which has been modified to allow for the re-flashing of tunes with the ECU in the car, without having to raise the battery voltage above 11.8V. A switch is added to the ECU – when flipped the ECU will be in bootloader mode and will be able to be flashed through the OBDII port. This ECU also comes with an added MAP sensor, which allows for the datalogging of boost/vacuum. M4.4 natively has no way to measure boost level.

This is the same ECU as sent out with all other tunes, but does not come with any tune pre-loaded or any software assistance in datalogging or tuning.  We will email you a base tune (stock ‘R’ level) compatible with your transmission type and climate control system as a starting point.

If you wish to switch to tuning provided by VAST you can apply the purchase price of this ECU towards to cost of a full tune.
